To qualify, you must have billed Medicare during the last 180 days and not be under current investigation. Small Business Loans
As part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, small businesses such as neurosurgery offices are eligible for loans, some of which are forgivable if you keep employees in the payroll through the crisis. To apply, go to covid19relief.sba.gov.
Employee Benefits Under the CARES ACT
In the event that you are forced to terminate or furlough employees due to the pandemic, you should let them know that they are entitled to up to $600 per week of federal aid in addition to any state unemployment benefits.
